The
Eligibility Committee focuses on current program and policy matters
associated with member eligibility for the program.
The Eligibility Committee is composed of 12 members. One member is a representative of the Governing Board and eight members are representatives of participating CMSP counties. Three members are representatives of health care provider and beneficiary organizations.
Matters that are considered by the Eligibility Committee are either directed to the committee by the Governing Board or initiated by the committee itself. All actions by the committee are advisory to the Governing Board, which considers committee recommendations at its regularly scheduled meetings.
