The CMSP Governing Board is authorized under California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 16809 et seq. to administer the County Medical Services Program for eligible residents of counties that contract with the Governing Board to administer the program. The Governing Board has adopted program regulations pursuant to its authority set forth in California Welfare and Institutions Code Sections 16809 and 16809.4.
