SACRAMENTO, CA., August 6, 2020 – The CMSP Governing Board is pleased to announce the AHLRP is now open for application!

This program, funded by the CMSP Governing Board and administered through the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, provides up to $16,000 in educational debt relief to allied healthcare professionals serving at CMSP contracted provider sites.

To date AHLRP has awarded $ 1,242,269 and will award up to $500,000 more this year!

Applications must be submitted by October 13, 2020 at 3:00 PM PST.

Under the CMSP Bridge Loan Program short-term loans in the amount of $10,000 up to $300,000 are available to any CMSP contracting Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and Tribal Health Program (THP). No interest will be charged for the first 12 months and a low interest rate will be charged for balances held longer than 12 months (up to 24 months). Loans may be fully paid at the end of 24 months.

In light of COVID-19, the CMSP Governing Board has taken action to release a Request for Application (RFA) for the COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant Program (CERG ). CERG Grants may support in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency through the provision of funding to expand the delivery of services that support local preparedness, containment, recovery and response activities in CMSP counties affected by the novel coronavirus. The CERG RFA, required documents, and resources are found at COVID-19 County Grants.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis beginning April 10, 2020 and ending on August 31, 2020 at 5:00 PM PST.

Eligible applicants include County Health and Human Services Agencies, County Health Departments, County Public Health Departments, or County Office of Emergency Services in CMSP counties. Only one application will be considered from each CMSP county. Total funding provided by the Governing Board for the COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant Program may equal up to $10,145,976 million for a 12-month grant period.
